Prestress Technology is an Open-Access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles which contribute new results in prestressing fields of the Civil Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Energy Engineering. The journal is devoted to the publication of high quality papers on theoretical and practical aspects of prestress technology. Prestress Technology(the journal) was founded in 1997 by Liuzhou OVM Machinery Co., Ltd. The title of the journal was inscribed by Guohao Li, a famous bridge expert in China and a senior academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. In 2023, Prestress Technology was changed to an international publication (Print-ISSN  2521-9480, Electronic-ISSN 2959-5177) and sponsored by Tongji University, published byTongji University Press. At present, the journal has been fully indexed by Crossref、Google Schorlar、Baidu Schorlar、Research Gate、Semantic Scholar, etc.

Prestress Technology aims to become a window for scientific and technological exchanges and exhibitions of prestress technology and reports of scientific research achievements in China, explore the international publicity and exchange platform of complete technology from the perspective of new technologies, new materials, new structures and new products under the new situation, and devoted to create international influential professional academic journals.
