Recently, the selection results for the Excellence Action Plan of Chinese Scientific Journals (Phase II) have been announced. "Prestress Technology," as a founding member journal of the "Cluster of University Scientific Journals in China and the Journals of the Chinese Academy of Engineering" by the Higher Education Press Co., Ltd., jointly participated in the application process and has successfully been selected for the Cluster Pilot Project (Project No.: B-01).

The Excellence Action Plan of Chinese Scientific Journals (Phase II) is a significant initiative jointly implemented by the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the National Press and Publication Administration, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The plan aims to promote the high-quality development of Chinese scientific journals and serve the construction of a powerful nation in science and technology. With a 5-year cycle, the program establishes seven sub-projects: leading journals, key journals, tiered journals, new high-starting-point journals, cluster pilots, the construction of internationalized digital publishing service platforms, and the selection and cultivation of high-level journal management talents. It is the largest, most funded, and broadest-ranging major scientific journal development support special project implemented in the field of scientific journals in China.
