Research

Dang's primary area of research is Engineering Innovation and Seismic Mitigation of Bridges.  As the project leader, he undertook a number of scientific research projects such as the key projects of the National Key Research and Development Program of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Shanghai Science and Technology Plan project, and completed the seismic research of more than 100 large Bridges. As the main initiator and permanent secretary of the organizing committee, he successfully hosted 6 International Conference on Engineering Innovation and Seismic Mitigation of Bridges. He has published more than 100 academic papers, of which more than 60 have been indexed by SCI/EI. He has been authorized 17 invention patents, more than 80 utility models, and 15 appearance and soft materials. He was the principal author of three standards; He has won 2 first prizes and 4 second prizes of provincial and ministerial level science and technology as the main completion person. He is also a reviewer of many academic journals, an expert in the library of the Ministry of Science and Technology, an expert in the evaluation of Shanghai Science and Technology Awards, and an expert in the evaluation of Henan Science and Technology Awards.
