Abstract:Prestressed anchor cables have been widely used in major hydropower projects in China. Aiming at the problem of service life of these anchor cables used as permanent support, an anchor cable that has been in service for 20 years on the left bank slope of Manwan Hydropower Station is excavated on site. Based on the results of excavation test, the anchor cable was evaluated from the aspects of corrosion characteristics of anchor head, shrinkage of steel strand, anti-rust effect of cement mortar, characteristics of inner anchoring section, changes of chemical and mechanical properties of steel strand and consolidation of cement grouting. The conclusion of evaluation is that the work of anchor cable is effective and the anchor cable should be safe.

Abstract:Aizhai Bridge is a steel-truss stiffened girder single-span suspension bridge with the main span arrangement of 242m+1176m+116m. It crosses the Dehang Grand Canyon, the terrain on both sides of the canyon is steep, and the design elevation of the bridge floor is about 355 meters different from the ground level. In order to overcome the difficulty of poor transportation conditions, the construction scheme of rail cable sliding frame and beam method is put forward. It uses the main cable of the suspension bridge as a load-bearing structure, and the permanent suspension cable is connected to the tensioned rail cable supported by the temporary sling as a track. The beam carriage moves the steel girder stiffening beam section on the rail cable, reaches the position to be installed, and vertically lifts and installs it with the help of the cable hoist. In this paper, the sliding-frame beam system of the rail cable and its scale model test and full scale model test are introduced. At the same time, the design and test of the cable hoist are also described. The test and engineering application results show that the rail cable sliding frame beam method can quickly realize the erection of the main beam of the suspension bridge, and has good safety and economy, and has broad application prospect and popularization value.

Abstract:How to apply vibration reduction and isolation technology to the engineering design of railway continuous beam is a research topic worthy of attention. Based on the demand analysis and the characteristics of railway continuous beams, a design idea of a new type of lead core damper is put forward, and the feasibility of applying the damper to the design of railway continuous beams is analyzed by using the conceptual design method. The analysis results show that the application of lead core damper to the design of railway continuous beam can achieve good results, and the seismic horizontal force acting on the F part of continuous beam can be greatly reduced, so as to reduce the engineering quantity of pier and foundation, and obtain better technical and economic benefits.

Abstract:Since the world's first CFRD was built in the United States in the early 1930s, there have been no reports of prestressing on CFRD panels for more than 80 years. In the 2008 Hong Kong International CFRD Experience Exchange meeting, the author proposed to apply pre-compressive stress on the reinforced concrete panel to improve the cracking resistance and reduce the amount of reinforcement, and this innovative proposal was approved by the experts. In more than three years, with the strong support of Gezhouba Group Yili Hydropower Investment Company, Xinjiang Water Resources Department Survey and Design Research Institute, Tianjin Metallurgical Zhongxingda Company and Liuzhou OVM Company, the CFRD panel test of Simutas Hydropower Station has been successful. This paper briefly introduces the dam and the application of prestress, and puts forward some suggestions on correction based on the summary of experiments.

Abstract:This paper introduces the innovative technology of continuous box girder bridge with corrugated steel web PC with span of 40 m ~ 60 m, which is formed by prefabricated corrugated steel web PC I-beams. The cross section of the corrugated steel web PC continuous box girder is first "broken into pieces" into two corrugated steel web PC I-beam units, and then the prefabricated pair-two I-beam units are connected through transverse wet joints.
