    • Nonlinear finite element analysis of prestressed steel-concrete continuous composite beams

      Abstract:Based on a series of test results of six two-span prestressed steel-concrete continuous composite beams and a general finite element program MSC.MARC(2005r2) as a platform, a fine finite element model is proposed to simulate the whole nonlinear mechanical behavior of prestressed continuous composite beams, and the detailed process of element selection, material modeling and overall assembly is given. Based on the elastic-plastic constitutive model, the finite element analysis can fully consider the material nonlinearity and geometric nonlinearity, reflecting the internal force change, slip effect, internal force redistribution, stress distribution, curvature distribution and plastic hinge formation in the whole process of structural stress, and deeply revealing the stress mechanism and characteristics of prestressed continuous composite beams. The calculated results of the model agree well with the measured results and the theoretical analysis results, and show good numerical characteristics. The model in this paper has high precision and wide applicability for the fine analysis of prestressed continuous composite beams, and provides a powerful tool for studying the mechanical performance of prestressed continuous composite beams.

      Abstract:This paper first introduces the engineering background and characteristics of the equal stress beam technology. Then, according to the upgrading and strengthening project of Dongyang River Bridge, the key technologies in the design of equal stress beam technology are introduced, such as the overall tensioning process, longitudinal tensioning equipment, longitudinal tensioning end, transverse tensioning equipment and devices, and the structure of bending point and bending point of prestressed steel beam. This paper introduces the problems and countermeasures in the construction of the stress beam technology, such as the precise control of the tension stress of the steel beam, the difference between single point tension and double point tension, and the influence of the transverse tension sequence of the first hole on the prestressing effect.

      Abstract:In China, cable-stayed bridge has been developed and widely used in recent 20 years because of its straddling ability and unique aesthetic effect. However, due to the complexity of the cable-stayed bridge structure system itself, the defects of the material itself, the construction technology, methods, quality problems, environmental corrosion, vehicle overload and the maintenance management is not in place during the operation period, the cable of the built cable-stayed bridge has more or less appeared various diseases. This not only affects the performance and normal operation of the bridge, but also reduces the safety margin of the main structure of the bridge, bringing hidden dangers in safety and defects in durability to the bridge. In this paper, the existing cable diseases of cable-stayed Bridges in China are investigated and analyzed in detail, and the use status of cable cables of cable-stayed Bridges and the main diseases such as PE sheath cracking, cable wire corrosion fracture, anchor corrosion, fatigue cracking are summarized, and the causes of the diseases are analyzed. On this basis, the corresponding maintenance strategies and measures are put forward, including the suggestions in design, construction, operation and management.

      Abstract:Tianjin Guotai Bridge is an arch bridge with two parallel steel trusses arch rib structure, and its main beams are welded box end face structure. Limited by the bridge type, the tension end is set at the end of the beam with less tension space. The optical fiber grating embedded in the suspender cable body is used to detect the health of the cable body. The fiber grating embedded in the cable increases the difficulty of installing the boom. This paper briefly introduces the construction and installation process of the boom of Tianjin Guotai Bridge, and provides some references for the construction of the boom of arch bridge in the future.

      Abstract:Yield anchor cable is a new member of the prestressed anchor cable family. Its stress characteristic is to allow surrounding rock deformation while keeping the support force constant. When the underground cavern is subjected to dynamic load such as explosion load or earthquake force, the deformation kinetic energy of surrounding rock is used to reduce the peak value of dynamic load impact, and the concept of "flexibility and rigidity" is used to improve the resistance of cavern to dynamic load. It can not only be used in the reinforcement and transformation of national defense engineering, but also widely used in the mining industry affected by mining roadway and cavern support, can also be used for seismic engineering reinforcement. It also has a wide application prospect in the support of large deformation slope and cavern.
