Abstract:A new series of steel wire rope type beam falling prevention devices is proposed in the article. This device is a product series developed successfully in China based on reference to foreign systems. Its main component, the cable body connecting the anchor cable, is composed of isolated and corrosion-resistant steel strands. The anchorage at both ends is made by squeezing and anchoring multiple steel strands together. The article provides a detailed description of the composition, characteristics, testing, engineering design, and application of the device. The research results indicate that the device has the characteristics of compact structure, good static load performance, high fatigue life, and reliable anchoring, providing a reliable guarantee for the safety of bridge structures in China under strong earthquake action. This system has been verified through engineering applications in Taiwan and other regions of China

Abstract:Suspension bridges have rapidly developed around the world due to their smooth and beautiful appearance. The bridge cable structure has gradually developed from a planar structure to a spatial cable structure. The design and fabrication of main cable saddle and splay sleeve of self anchored Suspension bridge suitable for space cable structure are particularly important. This article takes Tianjin Fumin Bridge as an example to briefly summarize its main cable saddle and loose cable sleeve structure, with a focus on the processing and manufacturing process of its main cable saddle and loose cable sleeve.
