Abstract:The development of pre-stressed concrete technology has led to the widespread adoption of large-area and large-space structures in civil buildings. Guangzhou New Baiyun International Airport Passenger Terminal Building is the largest terminal building in China, with novel structure, complete functions and grand appearance. The main structure is an extra-long, large-span, large-area continuous prestressed girder-slab structure, and the design and construction of prestressing is the key to this project. This paper mainly introduces the design points and construction technology of post-tensioned prestressing.

Abstract:Cement paste is usually used as the grouting material for prestressing apertures, which is a commonly used construction material for preventing rusting of prestressing tendons and partially transferring prestressing force, and is generally mixed on site with a cement paste mixer. In our engineering practice, due to the limited conditions of the site, we often encounter some construction units in order to save time and require a concrete mixer instead of a special grouting equipment for grouting.
