Abstract:The main cable is the main load-bearing member of suspension bridge, and the correctness or otherwise of the main cable alignment is the key to the success or failure of suspension bridge construction. Therefore, the calculation methods and results of main cable profile are very important in the design and construction of large-span suspension bridges. This paper briefly introduces two approximate calculation methods of the line shape, and at the same time focuses on a very close to the actual line shape of the main cable of the precise calculation method, and lists the results of the calculation of Yichang Bridge with this line shape calculation method.

Abstract:The basic principle of vacuum-assisted grouting process is based on the ordinary grouting process, using vacuum pumps to remove the air in the hole, so that the formation of a negative pressure of 0.1Mpa vacuum in the hole, and then grouting. At the same time, the configuration of the grouting material has also been improved, reducing the water-cement ratio, so that the grouting to achieve the effect of full and dense.

Abstract:In this paper, some experimental work was carried out in the marine environment on high-strength steel wires and strands used as prestressing tendons and on prestressed concrete members made from them. The corrosion mechanism and the corrosion condition of the strands, exposed and inside the members under stress in the marine environment are described and analyzed.

Abstract:From a stress corrosion point of view, the durability of strands does not differ by a small diameter difference. The efficiency of the anchoring system is, however, related to the diameter deviation of the strand.
