Abstract:The prestressing tendons are placed outside the beam cross-section of this structural form, called Externally Presstressed Conerete (EPC). In recent years, EPC has been developed rapidly at home and abroad, and is now widely used in the design of houses and bridges and in reinforcement and repair. This paper mainly introduces the development status, structural characteristics, main theories and design methods of EPC at home and abroad, in order to promote the wider application of Externally Presstressed Concrete (EPC).

Abstract:Due to the age of repair, with the development of transportation, through the bridge density and tonnage increase in the impact of many bridges began to reduce or lose the original bearing capacity and become dangerous bridge. This paper describes the use of extracorporeal prestressing technology to strengthen dangerous bridges, so that it restores or exceeds the original capacity.

Abstract:The author from a large number of different varieties of clip type anchorage test found that the factors affecting the clip type anchorage anchorage performance is not only related to the quality of the anchorage itself, but also with the quality of the strand and mechanical properties. The author believes that the quality of the anchorage itself is important, but due to the current high ultimate strength of the strand, the impact of the anchorage can not be underestimated. Therefore, constraints on the strength of steel strand and improve the quality of steel strand products has become a priority!
