Abstract:Based on the research results of domestic and foreign technology and engineering examples, this paper summarizes the current situation and development trend of circular post-tensioned prestressed concrete technology, and briefly introduces the double-layer double-ring post-tensioned unbonded prestressed concrete lining project in the sand drainage tunnel of Xiaolangdi Project of Yellow River.

Abstract:For the 200m to 1000m long-span bridge, the designer can choose from different schemes: beams, frames, arches, stay cables and suspension cables, however, for the super-span bridge that exceeds 1000m, prestressing technology is required. At this time, the alternatives are the cable and the suspension cable. If the span limit reached by the cable is exceeded, the suspension bridge solution is the only choice. The double cable concept in this paper provides a new option for Bridges with main span of 3000m or longer, and briefly describes some aspects in the design of super span Bridges, such as elastic stability, wind resistance and seismic performance.
