Abstract:

Applying prestress in reticulated shells can effectively adjust internal forces of members and ball joints, reduce structural deformation, and balance horizontal thrust at supports. Combined with engineering practice, this paper introduces the layout forms of prestressing tendons in reticulated shells and related prestress design and construction technologies.
