    Abstract:

    This report is an overview of the application of external prestressing tendons and describes the material issues related to external prestressing and the methods to solve them, including the definitions of prestressing tendons, external tendons and prestressing steel, as well as the requirements for corrosion protection, embedded ducts and deviators.
