Abstract:The sliding cable saddle is a key technology of the new steel wire cable-stayed system in the reconstruction project of Dongming Yellow River Bridge. When the cable force at both ends of the steel wire cable-stayed cable is uneven, the sliding cable saddle can adjust the cable force at both ends by sliding, making the cable force at both ends gradually tend to balance. This paper introduces the structure and function of the sliding cable saddle, and analyzes the stress of the sliding cable saddle through theoretical calculation and ANSYS finite element analysis software, proving that the structure of the sliding cable saddle is safe and reliable, and can meet the requirements of bridge life design.
