Abstract:Cable-stayed bridges have made significant progress in recent years. Computer software has developed, and steel materials and construction methods have also improved. It is predicted that the number of cable-stayed bridges to be built in the future will exceed that of suspension bridges. Cable-stayed bridges are composed of many components (beams, towers, and cables). Towers and beams can be built on existing concrete or steel structures. However, the problems of corrosion protection and wind vibration of cable stays have not been completely solved. This paper introduces the development process of effective cable stay corrosion protection and anti-wind vibration technology.
