Abstract:The 500 m spherical Radio telescope (five hundred meters aperture spherical telescope) of the National Astronomical Observatory is one of the major scientific devices planned to be built in the 11th Five Year Plan. Its cable net has a installation span of 500 m, a clear height of about 130 m, and a total of 8895 cables. FAST cable network has a large span and a large amount of cables, requiring high accuracy, making cable network construction very cumbersome and complex. The V-zone anchoring platform provides a movable anchoring platform for FAST cable network construction, and is an essential key equipment during the cable network construction process. This article focuses on the requirements of FAST cable network construction for V-zone anchoring platform, and uses ANSYS finite element software to solve multiple problems in the structural design process of V-zone anchoring platform through advanced structural optimization design and suspension cable shape finding methods; Innovatively solved the problem of anchoring and moving the V-zone anchoring platform; Finally, the development of the V-zone anchoring platform was successfully completed, providing strong support for FAST cable network construction
