The Lupu Bridge under construction is a steel arch bridge with a main span of 550 meters and a combined system of center-bearing arches and girders. The clearance under the bridge is 46×340 meters. The width of the bridge deck is 29.8 meters (6 lanes in both directions). The bridge was completed to become the world's largest arch bridge span.
