At present, although external prestressed Bridges have been more common in some developed countries, the domestic application is still in its infancy. There are still many technical problems in external prestressed Bridges that need further study. In this paper, the failure mechanism of external prestressed Bridges is analyzed, and the basic design suggestions of external prestressed Bridges are put forward.
