The 2×300MW unit of Hubei Puqi Power Plant has a drum diameter of 2.033m, a length of 22.500m and a weight of 167t. During the lifting process, the drum needs to tilt more than 32° before it can pass through the beams of each layer smoothly. This paper discusses the feasibility of hydraulic lifting technology in inclined lifting of drum by analyzing the stress state of drum during lifting, which has universal significance for drum lifting.
