This paper introduces the characteristics of self-anchored suspension Bridges, the development history of self-anchored suspension Bridges abroad and the situation of self-anchored suspension Bridges that have been built. The design and construction experience of self-anchored suspension bridge in China are introduced, and the development and application prospect of this bridge type are analyzed.
