    Abstract:

    The Xiamen Taikoo Aircraft Maintenance Base consists of a single-storey hangar hall and a three-storey annex building, designed by the China Academy of Space Architecture. The hangar hall consists of a diagonally placed cross grid and a steel arch spanning the main gate, with a span of 154m, a depth of 70m and a chord height of 27m. The part bearing the horizontal force of the arch is a non-bonded prestressed concrete structure.
