The large deflection angle of the cable of the third Bosphorus Strait bridge in Turkey requires the design of a locator to protect the cable body. This paper designs the material selection and structure of the locator, and verifies the performance of the locator through theoretical calculations and ANSYS analysis, and its protective effect on the cable body.
