Tension rod is an important part in the construction of cable-stayed bridge. Through the mechanical and structural inspection and strength check of a broken tension rod, the cause of the fracture is analyzed, and on this basis, the problems worth attention in the design and manufacture of this kind of tension rod are put forward.
