The stay cable is an epoxy sprayed steel strand cable system, which has the advantage of being able to use lightweight construction equipment and effectively complete the installation and tensioning of the stay cable. However, it has high technical content and high precision in controlling cable force during the installation and construction of the stay cable. By introducing the installation and construction of the stay cable of the low tower cable-stayed bridge of Qiligou Hangang Bridge in Ankang, Shaanxi Province, this paper expounds in detail the installation and construction technology of the epoxy sprayed steel strand stay cable, as well as the tensioning control method of the single steel strand equivalent method, which can be used for reference by the construction personnel
