This paper introduces the development process of OVMAT cable-stayed short tower cable-stayed bridge by taking Fujian Zhangzhou Battle Reserve Bridge and Lanzhou Xiaoxihu Yellow River Bridge as examples. The split-wire technology is used to solve the deficiencies of the original cable-stay system saddle and anti-slip anchors, and the optimized design of the beam-end anchorage is combined with the characteristics of the short tower cable-stayed bridges, and the corrosion and water-proofing of the cable-stayed bridges are well solved.
