Haiyantang Bridge is the first self-anchored suspension bridge in China with circular steel stranding wires for its main cable and derrick. The design and structure of its main cable and derrick are different from those of ordinary suspension Bridges. This paper introduces the effective measures to determine the cable force of the main cable and derrick and the vacuum grouting technology of the main cable part of the tower cap.
