In this paper, some experimental work was carried out in the marine environment on high-strength steel wires and strands used as prestressing tendons and on prestressed concrete members made from them. The corrosion mechanism and the corrosion condition of the strands, exposed and inside the members under stress in the marine environment are described and analyzed.
