The large tonnage prestressing anchorage has been widely valued for its reasonable price, remarkable reinforcement effect and quick effect. After economic and technical comparison, Shiquan Hydropower Station chose prestressing anchorage solution to strengthen the dam body, through optimized design and careful construction, 30 bundles of 6-8MN grade anchors were successfully applied. Achieved significant economic and social benefits, and to expand the application and development of prestressed anchorage technology provides favorable conditions.
