Nowadays, the geotechnical anchorage technology has been widely used in the world. Japan also uses a lot, because it is an island and earthquake-prone country. In this case, the technology of rock and soil anchorage is undoubtedly very important for strengthening engineering measures. So the geotechnical anchorage research is also very active. In this paper, the research on geotechnical anchorage in Japan is introduced.
